1800'-1900s Style Calico SUNBONNETS Your Choice of Six Colors!

Soft fabric bonnets were the most common bonnets of the 19th century.  They came in many shapes and sizes, but all served one major purpose...to protect the wearer from the elements.  "Ladies of fashion" thought these styles of bonnet to be "prairie or frontier", but many women could not afford, or did not have access to the shaped bonnets and hats, so they made fabric bonnet and added trims and ruffles to dress them up. Such bonnets were worn from the 1800's and were even seen well into the early 20th century.
Each bonnet is new and has been hand made  in the USA, each is "one of a kind." The bonnets are made to open out and lay flat for ironing or packing for travel. They have a ribbon tie  inside at the back neckline which allows for the bonnet to be adjusted to a wide range of sizes from girls to women's sizes. Each has a back curtain or bavolet to protect the neck from the sun. Your choice of the following bonnets:
Sunbonnet #1:  Rose The bonnet is made of 100% cotton. The bonnet is made of 100% cotton calico. The pattern is red strawberries, white flowers with yellow centers surrounded by shaded green leaves against a rose colored background. The brim is edged with darker rose colored cord. The self-lined brim is accented with five parallel rows of stitching. It is 18" wide and 5 1/2" deep.
Sunbonnet #2. Yellow.The 100% cotton bonnet is a crisp plaid in two shades of  yellow, white and blue-gray. The brim is lined with white cotton broadcloth and is edged with dark gray cording.The brim is accented with five parallel rows of stitching. It is 16 1/2" wide and  7" deep.
Sunbonnet #3. Green .The 100% cotton bonnet is a small scale calico, the dark forest green baclgrpimd os scattered with tiny lavender flowers in yellow and gold, lavender and white and brown and white with green leaves. The brim is lined with yellow cotton broadcloth and is edged with bright yellow-green cotton lace trim.The brim is accented with five parallel rows of stitching. The brim is 18" wide and  7" deep
Sunbonnet #4. Lavender. 100% cotton calico print. Lacy white flowers and bows are scattered across a pale lavender background. The self-fabric brim is edged with loops of white cotton cording. The brim is 17" wide and 7" deep.
Sunbonnet #5. Plaid..The 100% cotton bonnet is a woven plaid in pastel shades of  yellow, white, orange, pink, purple and blues. The brim is edged with light blue cotton baby rick-rack (called wavy braid in the 1800's) and is lined with sky blue cotton broadcloth.The brim is accented with five parallel rows of stitching. It is 17" wide and  6" deep.
Sunbonnet #6. Blue. The 100% cotton bonnet is  soft baby blue with tiny pink and white flowers with darker blue leafs and stems. The brim is  self-lined and is edged with
white cotton
eyelet lace (called broderie anglaise in the 1800's).
The brim is accented with five parallel rows of stitching. It is 17 1/2" wide and  6 1/2" deep.
