Vehicle Details
48 B-1-C 3/4 ton 2wd. Flathead, 4spd w/granny gear. Lots of work done in the past 2 years. Tires, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, single exhaust, fuel tank, Empi 32/36 carb, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser, starter and generator rebuilt, starter relay, voltage regulator, wood in bed, chrome strips too, radiator flushed, thermostat, coolant, gear lube in rear axle and transmission. Ran great until this spring when electric fuel pump died. Just installed a new one but it's not getting voltage... still working on it. Engine is original, still using SAE-30; it ran 180F no matter the outside temp. Doesn't smoke but does use some oil. Interior amateur restoration. Nice seat and door panels, roof panel. Rubber floor mat. Heater, wipers work. Choke works. High idle not working. All lights, blinkers work. Direct drive starter replaced with a push-button on dash. Fuel guage not working. Right front tire slow leak. Left rear wheel seal slight leak. Bangs, bumps, and bruises all over as it was a farm truck. Home-made grain door in tailgate. Home-made spare tire holder. Rust in typical spots: lower tailgate, front fenders mounting brackets, rear fenders (mostly pass side). Frame, floors, running boards, cab corners all solid. Selling with NO RESERVE. It is NOT fs locally. I will not pull the auction for any reason. It will sell here on eBay. Bring a trailer with a winch or a come-a-long. Call/text John if you have questions. A few more notes I'd like to add. The engine WILL run, and yes it could be converted back to a manual fuel pump. Engine turns over fine. The block is NOT cracked, nor is the intake or exhaust manifold. I realize you bidders are taking a chance since I haven't been successful getting the truck going again. If the engine was junk I would list it as being junk and needing a rebuild. I haven't had much time to work on the fuel pump issues and decided to just list it as non-running; I want to sell it before the snow flies here in Minnesota. I will help/assist in loading for anyone whom hires a shipper. The shipper/trucker will need to know that he has to have a winch to get the truck loaded as I doubt I will have it running again by auction's end. Overall the truck is a very good unit. It's no show winner, but a good surviving example that has had a lot of work done. Any questions call or text. Don't PM me thru eBay.
