1980 Land Rover Defender

Description

The vehicle is a 1991 Land Rover Defender 90 from GB (right hand drive). Tittle is clean, Vin number ebay doesn't find it because it is British. But all matches with tittle. I will list the goods and the bads to the best extent of my knowledge. Keep in mind you are buying an unrestored cosmetically or structurally Land Rover Defender, and you should know what they are and what it takes to take it to full restoration.
The Bads:
1) It is unrestored and as it sits, it has all the things you must fix when you find one of these. These vehicles have two main parts made out of steel and the rest is aluminum,, and the steel parts are known to rust bad. Gladly you can buy EVERYTHING for these vehicles
2) Upper firewall by vents is rusted (panels are included with the sale for you to fix it)
3) Frame has the usual MOT British fixes and patches. Although it is structurally sound and approved to import and road worth, If you want this vehicle to achieve its full value you should buy the Rover's north galvanized frame (been that it is right hand drive it is cheaper frame)
4) paint is mostly original for what i can tell and it has blemishes everywhere (again this is a vehicle for you to restore and make big $$)
THE GOOD: This vehicle is extremely mechanically sound. And i mean it has so many new mechanical parts BIG $$ invested.
1) New garret Turbo
2) Restored Diesel Pump (big $$)
3) New Starter
4) New Diesel Tank and Diesel lines
5) New Battery
6)It drives and breaks as it should, although it does pull to the right if you hit the breaks hard (well known to do it)
7) 2WD, 4H, 4L (with rear lockers) ALL WORKS PERFECTLY.
8) New Tires all around with new spare tire.
The vehicle drives well, Runs great, the engine starts with a single touch. Rarely you will see one of these these days that has not been restored and been sold for big $$. The Engine is a 200TDI diesel which are extremely desirable and with low miles. The Odometer reads 141,000 but these are kilometers, it is close to 85 thousand miles, for diesel these are VERY LOW miles. Again THIS IS NOT a restored vehicle, this is either an amazing trailing toy that runs and drives incredibly, or an amazing investment opportunity to make some good $$$ by restoring it.Actual VIN matches title but EBAY system does not recognize British VIN numbers (well known issue) The vehicle’s actual VIN: SALLDVAF7HA703264 title says 1980 BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY WAY EBAY ALLOW ME TO POST IT. BUT THE LANDY IS A 1991
