It was the issue sword for sergeants and musicians of infantry regiments from 1832 until 1840. Our replica U.S. Model 1832 Foot Artillery Shorts Sword has a 6-inch solid brass hilt, a 4-inch cross guard, and a blade approximately 19 inches in length. This M1832 Artillery Short Sword has a brass hilt and cross guard with an embossed eagle on the pommel.
