    Description

Description:  The Knole settee was first created in the 17th century for use at the grand Knole English country house in Kent. It was originally intended as an elegant throne upon which the monarch could sit when receiving visitors.
Like the original version, this settee is upholstered in a muted tonal geo print and boasts supremely elegant detailing. Included studded welt,  a traditional fringe skirt, exposed wood finials, and decorative braided cord with tassels all give the piece an unmistakably regal aire.
This style is fun, supremely elegant, and timeless. It's anchored rooms in castles and country homes throughout Europe, in the poshest of hotels like New York's Gramercy Park, and celebrity homes like that of Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier.
