    Description

    A lovely Civil War/Victorian Era Day Gown of 100% Cotton Fabric (Washable on Delicate cycle, or Hand Wash), Black Stripes on White Background with Beautiful Red Roses.  This is a particularly fine combed cotton fabric, soft to the touch, and comfortable to the wearer.  Gown has a scoop Neckline, Lined Bodice with soft white muslin, and  small Cap Sleeve with a hand pleated bottom edge.  Trimmed with Red Ball Fringe at the Neck Edge, Sleeve Edge, and at the Hemline.  There are shoulder pads for shaping, and a 22" Back Zipper for ease of wearing.  There is a Red Belt of 2-1/2" Gros Grain Ribbon, and two rows of the same Red Ribbon at the Hemline.  This gown is absolutely stunning, and would warrant a second look of the beautiful lady wearing  it.   The Measurements are as follows:  Bust 38", Wist 30", Shoulder to Waist 17", Waist to Hem 40 3/4", and the Width of the Hem is 5 Yards and 8", or 188", a very full skirt.  Gown is shown with a Hoop Skirt, not included.  This Gown was cut from  pattern and Sewn by a professional Seamstress with quality workmanship assured.   If you have any questions about this Gown, please do not  hesitate to contact me, I am pleased to share by Art with you.
