Lake Michigan Septarian Lightning Stone. A 55 million year old fossil found in Lake Michigan. Hand picked. Weighs approximately 549 grams and is approximately 5” x 3”. This specific stone is very unique! It has indentations/divots on each side with siderite embedded into the indentations. Pictures have been taken to show as much detail as possible. It is a beautiful stone! Septarian consists of clay cemented onto an iron mineral called siderite. In the past, septarians have been interpreted to be dinosaur eggs. Lake Michigan Septarian is found on the beaches of the lower west side of Michigan. Septarian has many healing properties and benefits!
