Description

Lithostrotionella Coral Fossils are the state gemstone of West Virginia. This one is from western TN. They are from the Paleozoic Era and the Silurian Period. They are about 400 million years old making them one of the oldest fossils on earth. They are about twice as old as the dinosaurs. This fossil is 7 inches x 5 inches x 4 inches and weighs 4 lb. 3.5 oz.
