  • Condition: Used. Bought it back at the time, brand new, for my Dad. Used but in good 'exterior' order except expected some use/age-signs. The battery case is not corroded. The device turns on OK and the sound works. So when a move is made or say a new level is selected, you hear the beep. However, the lights always show in the same coordinate pair. I think it's the reed switch and/or the sensor chessboard that is not working. All chess pieces are intact as is the case, the leather pouch, and the manual.

    , I will not be too surprised if someone in the know can have this chess computer repaired and then enjoyed at playing or at teaching someone the game. Otherwise, I am certain this chess computer can be used for parts. Either way, please don't hesitate to ask me questions.
